In reply to <a href="https://thenutritionwatchdog.com/amazing-power-of-cumin/#comment-22282">Chris</a>.

In my opinion , the difference is fennel helps in digesting and acts as a mouth cleanser after heavy meaty and spicy foods. Cumin is considered as not only helps in digestion it also act as a detoxifier. It eliminates all toxin contents in the body by aiding liver function. It is an overall inner body cleanser, kind of detailing. In India different regions handle Cumin differently. In Kerala every household whether rich or poor they offer cumin water as a welcome drink if you visit their houses. In northern India Jal jeera meaning cumin water. I confidently vouch for its ability to control Blood Pressure as I have witnesses my Dad always drinks when he returns home after heavy work with 100! Degree heat in Chennai. Thanks.

If you want to keep a copy of an article just select the text by placing the cursor at the start of the text and then click and hold the left mouse button and drag down the page till you've highlighted all the text you need then release the button and click the right one and select "Copy" then open a word processor and select "Paste" this will give you a copy of the article which you can then save to you PC. If you require the pictures then just right click on them and select "Copy" and place the cursor where you want it to sit and right click and select "Paste" On an Android tablet/phone just place the cursor at the start of the text and press and hold your finger on the screen till a double blue cursor appears then drag the right one down to the end of the article and select "Copy" from the top of the screen then in whatever word processor/text editor you have (I use SoftMaker’s TextMaker HD) hold your finger on the page till "Paste" appears and select it then save the article.

Chris... You eat saunf to combat bad breath and cumin (jeera) is mostly used for cooking. Some say if you boil a teaspoon of cumin in a cup of water, keep it overnight and drink it in the morning it has medicinal qualities, like reduces blood pressure! I have yet to try it.

Really good article......Is it accurate that Cumin contains a form of estrogen? I have had to stop taking HRT and am trying to replace it with natural remedies. ..........However,I have to be careful in what I take, as I am on daily anti-coagulants due to DVT last year. Cumin seems a good supplement along with one or two others.
