Big government agencies, ran by appointed officials, are already compromised, or there wouldn’t be any corn syrup products and round up would be outlawed. President Trump is looking to cut the drain on our wallets with these agencies that are way too big and powerful and not working in our best interest.

What you didn’t mention is that the Trump administration is trying to eviscerate the EPA, including refusing to allow dissemination of studies that show the deadly effects of Round-up. Buying organic food is important, but not letting the EPA to become a tool of major corporations like Monsanto is important too.

I have been living in Ecuador for the last 3 years, and in only the last year we have seen glysophate on the shelves of small agricultural products stores. I have a friend who is a sales manager for an agro-chemical company that has confirmed to me that agro-chemicals have arrived in Colombia, Ecuador, and quite possibly Peru. There are still, however, many, many small farmers that do not use agro-chemicals, so true organic food is easy to find and no more expensive than crops grown with chemicals.
