Heart burn is caused by to little stomach acid. Taking tums or other calcium carbonate is an antacid reducing the stomach acid even more. You need to take vinegar or betain hydrochloride with the calcium carbonate. That you have problems with digestion is a sign of low stomach acid as mentioned above.

Wrong. Flax and soy are estrogen mimics and as such, are endocrine disruptors.
Phytoestrogens are feminizing, pro-cancerous chemicals. Asians consumed small
amounts of FERMENTED soy for millennia and not large amounts of commercially prepared and process soy milk. Their diets most likely did not include flax.

Pea milk is in the same family as peanuts. It can be very harmful to those who are very allergic to peanuts. In other cases it can cause bronchial problems such as co asthma. This info came from Ann Lander's column years ago. Two doctors were discussing peas and peanuts being in the same plant family...and a lady overheard them. Her son was suffering from asthma. So she removed her son from eating peas which he loved and no more problems. She took one of the doctor's address info and wrote him about this.

I really don't like the Almond Milk due to the fact that I am allergic to almonds. When making things for a celebration at work they need to ask if anyone is allergic to certain foods or ingredients. The ladies at work thought I was telling a fib a couple of months back, so they made a couple of things using the almond milk. I noticed a little bit after we ate I started itching and breaking out in rashes. That is when I found out a couple of ladies made things using the Almond Milk and I was glad I carried medication for my allergies .
