I eat cilantro very often. Recently, I mixed a small bunch of cilantro with salad and ate a small bowl of the salad. Three hours later, I started to have terrible abdominal pain. The symptom lasted for two days. I almost went to emergency room. Later, I searched on google about cilantro. The article on google indicated one should not eat too much cilantro. If a person eat a small bunch of cilantro every day for a week. it may kill the person.
What is your opinion?

Hi David, I've read the same. I blanched all my raw vegetables and peel the fruits before I eat them. Wash all your fruit&vegetables first with fruit & vegetable liquid soap (you can get it at Trader Joe's). Then drop your clean raw vegetables in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, remove it quickly from the boiling water and rinse it with cold water to stop it from overcooking. It should still be firm and crunchy. The boiling water will remove all the outer chemicals. Be safe.
