I am just becoming aware of the benefits. I have high iron (which is not good). My girl told me to take it and I do. It seems to help level out my iron intake. For me that is a good deal. But just for me. If someone is enimic (opposite of my situation) then it would not be good for them. Thanks for this information. It is helpful

In reply to <a href="https://thenutritionwatchdog.com/the-good-and-bad-side-of-turmeric/#comment-158053">CB</a>.

I just spent two days in the hospital after taking two Turmeric gummies. Drastic drop in blood pressure, projectile vomiting and explosive diarrhea….my body was trying it’s best to get rid of it!!!!
They thought I had sepsis but then came to the conclusion is was the turmeric. So it can be VERY bad for your health?.

I am personally of the belief that dark circles do not tend to be genetic in Indian families (and other cultures that eat curry regularly) but are actually caused by turmeric!

The reason is, I am a white woman who married into an Indian family. No one in my family has dark undereye circles--and I never had them either. That is, I never had them until I started enjoying delicious Indian curries regularly. Now I have very dark circles at my inner eyes (next to my nose)

I am absolutely certain there is a link between curry spice intake--my best guess is it's the turmeric--and dark undereye circles.

At the very least, people should make certain to only buy high quality turmeric since some sources are contaminated with lead. I personally will be using less turmeric.

I saw that also. i agree.
ps etc is the abbreviation for et cetera, Latin for "and the rest"; if that's what you meant, maybe a mistype. A common mistake I see is the use of ect instead of etc.

PLEASE LOOK!!! Is the last sentence in the turmeric/Curcumin article correct? It IS recommended for pregnant women ets. That seems contradictory to the text preceding it. PLEASE CORRECT THIS.
